Public Statement of Appreciation
It is impossible to appropriately thank all of the thousands of people who played a part in helping to overturn this ill-conceived annexation ordinance.
Now that the dust has settled a bit after the election, the Refuge Property owners wanted to express their appreciation to all of you.
Take a look at this public statement of gratitude that will appeared in Sunday's News-Herald:

Voter Response Rate
Apparently, the County elections office had a "significant" number of ballots "returned to sender" due to outdated addresses.
That means that the actual response rate of those who DID receive ballots was technically well over the stated 41%.
Cool.
Especially for a single-item mail-in ballot. Nice work!
